BW: Hello Jen! I am so pleased to have a few minutes with you! Thank you!
I have just a few questions for you - to help introduce you - to those line dancers who haven't met you yet. I have to say, they are missing out!
J: Thanks for your kind words, I'm glad to be here.
BW: Tell me just a little about yourself..?
J: I'm from New Jersey. I have been in Palm Coast for the last 13 years. I really like Palm Coast - its a great place to live. There are lots of activities and mostly great weather.
BW: I sure agree with you on that! I know you as a fine line dance instructor that really cares about her dancers. You must have worked in the service industry?
J: Well, yes, and thanks. I worked for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies - and retired as a Customer Satisfaction Manager.
BW: And now you have more time for line dancing?
J: Yes. I have been dancing for 15 years and teaching for 10. My first experience with line dancing was amazement and the thought that I couldn't do it. Well I can, and I love it. There is nothing more satisfying than watching people do and like what you have taught them. Very gratifying.
BW: Well that certainly shows! ..and we appreciate you for it! Is there anything you'd like to add about your class?
J: I like teaching all levels, I teach beginner to intermediate dances. I like to keep things fun and fresh.
BW: When I asked you about expectations or plans earlier, you said " Who knows??????" I really like that about you - you are fearless about choices. I fully expect when I come to class to be surprised and delighted with a new song or dance.... yes, always fun and always fresh! For those who haven't been to one of Jen's classes - she is totally inspired by all kinds of music - finds just the right dance for that song and voila! We have another wonderful dance to work on. Its all for the love of dance and I sincerely thank you for being MY inspiration.
J: Thank you!!!
